Licence

The national data in EmiMine (GhaMEM v1.1, as reported in GhaMEM v1.3-ERL, and the land method v0.2) are cleared for release by KNUST IPUK/OGR (October 2026) and published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence (CC BY 4.0). You may share and adapt them for any purpose, with attribution.

Code

The EmiMine software is licensed under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 (AGPL-3.0).

Upstream sources

Each upstream source (Global Forest Change, the drivers-of-loss map, the artisanal mining maps, geoBoundaries, NID1, Chamber of Mines statistics, company reports and GHEITI tables) keeps its own terms. EmiMine publishes derived national values only; the source register on the Open data page lists them.

Your organisation's data

Data entered by an organisation are not covered by this licence and are never published without its consent.
